Parents as Teachers is accepting applications for a parent educator to deliver all components of the Parents as Teachers model to families in the Linn County service area.  This may include families who reside in the Pleasanton, Prairie View, and Jayhawk school districts.   Services offered range from home visits by parent educators and developmental screenings to making referrals to Infant Toddler Services and offering group connection activities.

Hours: This position is expected to be a part time position (20 hours per week)

Qualifications:  Must have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.

Certifications:  Must obtain a Parents as Teachers National Certification within 3 months.  Visit http://www.patnc.org for details.

Parents as Teachers is a grant program, and staffing each year is based on program funding.
